Raymond Felton was AWESOME! If there ever was a chance for State to beat the Heels this season, it would have been last night. No McCants - love him or hate him, the Heels are a different team without him.

State was on a roll after defeating Maryland and Georgia Tech (at GT). They really did have a chance. I think the lines were ranging anywhere from 6 to 9 points for Carolina - hardly insurmountable. The State crowd was BIG TIME on at RBC - not a very hospitable environment for the Blue.

How did the Heels answer? 4 starters and 1 bench player with points in double figures. Sean May with a double double... Only 11 turnovers - I know ONLY 11, but this is Carolina - high risk/high reward. They also managed 31 boards (10 offensive) with may hauling in 12 (4).

Good job - even State fans themselves are giving props. Rayshawn Terry got 15 good minutes and almost the entire bench saw reasonable play... Gotta love Roy Williams basketball.
